Social media volunteer - post about the Chapterʻs events, programs, and opportunities on Instagram and Facebook
Special Net Patrol Crew- Looking For volunteers who can go out at various times and remove marine debris. This is for the people that have to work on Wednesday afternoon.
Booth Captains for cleanups and/or special events - represent Surfrider Kauaʻi at different tabling opportunities such as the monthly Hanalei Board Swap.
Newsletter volunteer - write and send out monthly, digital newsletters to our members and volunteers (training provided. Must be comfortable with online platforms)
Photographers - capture content at our events
Graphic designer - create flyers, brochures, etc. for upcoming events and programs
Education Team Member - Join our education team in hosting beach cleanups and educational talks with school groups
GENERAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Weekly Net Patrol (often requires a strenuous hike to remote and rocky coastlines to remove plastic pollution). Need beach cleaners and people with trucks to haul debris. Sign up here.
Beach Cleanups - We always need helping hands at our public beach cleanup events! These are less strenuous than net patrol and you can meet our core group of volunteers
